Katie's Baby Bump

Can we just talk about how gorgeous Katie looks! I mean, wow- she is literally radiant.  And of course Frank looks great too ;) I met up with Katie and Frank at Booth Park in Birmingham to snap a few pictures of their family of two- soon to be three! It was a gorgeous evening and we enjoyed wondering through the park and chatting.  After shoots like this I always get in my car and think to myself, 'yup I have the best job ever.'  Congratulations, you two! Looking forward to meeting your little lady when she arrives!

Jack + Kathleen

Seriously this engagement session . . . perfection.  Kathleen, Jack and I all went to college together and it was so fun to see them again.  I am so thankful for our little college and the bond between all of the Albion alumni.  But anyways, back to these pictures.  Kathleen picked downtown Dexter for their shoot and I am so glad she did! I had never been, and we were lucky enough to get a perfect evening to explore.  It was one of those locations with great flowers and scenic trails, but was also close to the downtown area for a few urban photographs which gave their shoot some nice variety.

Kathleen and Jack were so comfortable with each other the entire time.  I loved watching them interact from behind the camera and seeing how sensitive and sweet Jack was to Kathleen. True love! I am already looking forward to photographing their wedding in Ann Arbor next summer.  Happy planning, you two!

McDonald Family

I just love when I get to see the McDonald family. They were one of my first clients when I had this idea to start my own photography business back in college and they have been such amazing supporters of my business ever since.  I cannot thank them enough for all of the kind words, shared Facebook posts and silly photo shoots at the park over the years.  We always have the best time together and their little girls make my job so much fun. Thank you, thank you, thank you, McDonald Family!
