Baby Hudson

This little guy was just over a week old when we got together for his newborn pictures.  Hudson was ready to join the party and did not want to sleep during his shoot, but who can blame him?!  His family was so sweet and continuously rocked him to sleep each time he woke up.  Hudson, you are certainly going to be beyond loved and cared for by your parents and big sister!

Elliott Family

I met the Elliott Family last fall for some family photographs at the park before winter hit.  This seems to happen with every family, but I just couldn't believe how much their little ones had grown over one season.  Their little girl was just a newborn and now she is on the move! Both of their kids are just the sweetest and they make my time with them so enjoyable.  Thank you so much for inviting me into your home to capture a few memories, Elliott family!

Baby Ethan

I photographed Lindsey's growing baby bump this past fall and little Ethan is finally here! I had so much fun meeting this little guy when he was just 8 days old.  He is certainly going to be very blessed with amazing parents and a group of family and friends that already love him beyond words.  Welcome to the party, little man!

Baby Anthony

I was lucky enough to meet little Anthony when he was just 8 days old.  Anthony made his family wait and arrived the day after Christmas. He was as sweet as can be and a little angel during his photo shoot!  I had photographed Anthony's family when they were just a family of 3, so I was so excited to share in this next milestone for their growing gang.  Anthony's big brother Joey was certainly excited to share his trucks and books with his new little brother.  With the new addition to their family Katie has still found time to post regularly on her blog- be sure to check it out! Enjoy loving and cuddling with that sweet little guy, Serbinski family!

2014 Highlights: Part 2

Oh the places we have visited this year!  On the top of both of our bucket lists was to spend a month backpacking Europe. The opportunity to cross this item off our list arose in the time between Ted's graduation and receiving his certifications to begin working.  On a whim we booked a flight and set out on building a loose itinerary for our month in Europe.  Since that month we have returned to Europe again for another 10 days and checked a whole lot more things off of our bucket list. Some including . . .

Drink a beer at Oktoberfest in Munch
Go on a gondola ride in Venice
See the Eiffel Tower
Plan an impromptu vacation and leave that week
Visit Rome
Drink a glass of wine in a Tuscan hill town
Bike across the Golden Gate Bridge
Lock up a love lock and throw away the key

2014 you certainly grew my love for adventure!

2014 Highlights: Part 1

I simply cannot believe that we are getting ready to wrap up another year.  I wanted to take time and highlight some happenings from 2014.  In all honesty this year has, by far, been my favorite year yet.  Because I just can't get enough of 2014 I thought I would break this up into two posts.  Today highlighting some of my favorite client photo shoots and later this week highlighting some of my favorite personal photos.

2014 was the year that I made the leap to follow my dreams and make photography my full time job. It was a difficult decision full of emotion, fear and uncertainty.  I haven't looked back once. Photography is my true passion and I feel my love for photography growing deeper with every photo shoot. This year I worked on an amazing project with the Downs Syndrome Guild of Southeast Michigan, photographed a whole bunch of little ladies in their momma's wedding dress, shared in wedding days and met so many amazing families.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my passion and letting me share in the story of your family.  Thank you for letting me into your homes and making silly faces to get true smiles, thank you for exploring parks together, showing up rain or shine and letting me share tears of joy with you on your wedding day.  My clients are the best and for you I am so, so thankful.
