This fall it seems that with every family I meet I am reminded of just how lucky I am to have this job. The Thompsons were so friendly and sweet and made my job a joy. Their two kids were naturals in front of the camera and everyone laughed and joked with each other during the shoot. As I was editing these images I couldn't get over that gap in Reagan's teeth- such a ridiculously cute age! Enjoy Thompson family!

Spear Family
You guys, oh my gosh I am serious . . . this job, it is just the best. I get to spend Saturday afternoons with families like the Spears. They are just about as sweet as people come. Their two little girls are so sweet and loving to each other. We really had a wonderful shoot. I was lucky enough to meet the Spear family earlier in the year when I photographed their little one, Megan, with her grandma and I was so glad to see everyone again. I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I do Spear family. Thank you so much for spending the afternoon with me!

Packard Family
I was able to squeeze these little ladies in for a session a few weeks back at Milford Central Park. They certainly have grown since I first met them last year during fall mini sessions. The sun was setting just right and we snapped a few great images of these girls as they tried to control all of their giggling. Thanks for those sweet smiles, Packard girls!

Miller Family
I was lucky enough to shoot my nephew and his family at a local park in Birmingham a few weeks ago. It was so fun spending the evening with them and doing just about anything to distract Parker from all of the fun things there were to explore at the park- rocks, ducks, waterfalls, the list went on and on. The lighting was perfect to highlight the first hint of fall colors. Enjoy Millers!

Heather + Steve
I was so excited when a got a text message from one of my college sorority sisters asking if I would be available to photograph her wedding. It is always such an honor to spend the entire day with someone on their wedding and it is extra special when that person is one of your friends.
Heather and Steve's wedding was perfectly them- from the relaxing morning getting ready with the girls to the outdoor ceremony and outrageously fun party. Their rustic wedding was a joy to photograph and we certainly had some fun with the props they brought along for their bridal party- I can say I have never photographed shotguns with the bridesmaids before! The best part was how naturally calm and happy everyone was. Heather and Steve clearly wanted everyone to have a great day celebrating- and they certainly did!
Thanks so much for letting me share in your day, Heather and Steve. Watching your family beam with your joy during your wedding shows just how loving and supportive your future together is going to be! Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Koch!
